Yesterday in CVS I found two new brands of polish by the same company: MBA Beuaty Inc.
They manufacture 10 Professional Nail Lacquer which is the "high end" of the two brands. It comes in a nicely shaped bottle in .50fl oz/15ml sizes for $4.99 each. The lower end is Confetti Long Wearing Nail Color for $1.99 each in a smaller .37 lf oz/11ml bottle. There are one or two dupes in each brand so I'd suggest buying the dupe in Confetti and any other color you like in 10.
I only bought three, but I probably will kick myself for not buying the dark gray color. I purchased 413 - Birthday Suit from 10. It is a sheer opalesque shimmery sheer pinkish beige. Very pretty in the bottle. I will have swatches later, currently I'm suffering a nail set-back.
In Confetti I bought 081 Smitten a very pretty looking purple with multi color superfine glitter/shimmer. The other is a funky looking green with superfine green glitter/shimmer named 097 My Favorite Martian.
I have a feeling I will be back for more. Peep the displays and the dupes.

10 Professional Nail Lacquer
Confetti Long Wear Nail Color
I am not a fan of the Confetti line of polishes (too thin & diluted, needed 3-4 coats depending on the color, the brush was too thin/small, and it chipped off in 3 days even w/ base & top coat). However, surprisingly, the 10 Professional Lacquer line is ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!! The price is only $3.99 at the CVS I go to and the color selection is fantastic. I bought almost every shade and immediately started on my nails when I got home (I am a nail FANATIC). This polish did not even need a base coat but I did, as always, put on a single coat of the Phase 1 Sally Hansen R(x)ecover Nail Rehab system which is more of a non-greasy nourisher than a polish. Basically the Sally Hansen Mega Shine top coat was all my mainicure needed. The 10 polish stayed on perfectly for about 6 days and then the edges started to chip ever so slightly...I could hardly even notice it. It took another 3 days for the polish to begin looking a bit dull so this is the longest lasting, hard wearing polish I have found in a very long time. The viscosity of the polish is so perfect (not too thin/not too thick) that with some of the colors, 458 Moonlight and 459 Showtime especially, you only need 1 or 2 coats and the polish also dries extremely quickly even when you apply two coats, one right after another. The brush size, shape, and texture enables three quick strokes for someone with fairly good polishing skills to paint an entire nail with a very high level of control. Very highly recommended!!!
ReplyDeleteI've looked for this 10 nail polish in like 4 different CVS and I can't find it! Where else can I look for it?
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to find this company online, but I haven't been able to. I wanted to investigate whether they are cruelty free. Anyone know?
